i did an actual folded crane in origami on the first page and this picture of one layered on velum over the instructions for folding your own. kinda plain, but i really had trouble with this one. i loved the idea of having the instructions here, but had a load (three days worth) of trouble coming up with a way to make it a bit less stark. it still doesn't go with the left side page, but i still like the idea. hope she does, too.
